Kathy Hammond
Thermopolis, Wyoming







Kathy is a fourth-grade teacher at Lucerne School where she has incorporated textiles into many classroom subjects. She has published patterns adapting ancient petroglyph designs to quilting. Kathy received honorable mention in the national Houston Show in 2003. Her quilts were chosen to travel in the national Hoffmann Challenge in both 2001 and 2002. She has twice placed second in the Big Horn Quilt Challenge. She earned second place at the Yellowstone Quilt Show 2005 and a Grand Champion Ribbon at Hot Springs County Fair 2005.  She teaches classes at Keeping You in Stitches and also teaches sewing and quilting for 4H.

Brought on Simply Quilts and Kathy got permission from quilt magazine to teach the class. Kit required. All skill levels.
